Finding time for CPD is one of the hardest parts of being a subject lead. Whole-school INSET days get booked up fast, evening Zoom sessions don't always land on a night that works for you, and squeezing in a course between playground duty and marking rarely happens. That's exactly why we built the CPD Zone.
What is the CPD Zone?
The CPD Zone is your on-demand training space — short, focused courses you can start whenever suits you, whether that's a free hour on a Tuesday afternoon or a quiet Sunday evening. No fixed dates, no travel, no waiting for the next live session. Just log in and start where you need to.
It sits alongside the other ways we support you:
Online via Zoom — live, whole-team sessions built around where your school actually is right now
On-demand (CPD Zone) — short courses on everything from coordination to tracking, watch whenever suits you
At your school — in-person Super Days and PFL in Practice visits
The CPD Zone is the one you can start today, without booking anything in.

It walks you through getting started, action planning for your first term, and building momentum once the initial term is underway — so you're not guessing what to prioritise first.
How to get started
The CPD Zone is included as part of your PLN membership. Head to your dashboard, choose CPD Zone, and pick any course to start straight away — track your progress as you go, and pick up certification once you've completed a course.
