"Languages stopped being our Ofsted vulnerability. It became something we were genuinely proud of."

Not a course. Not a resource.

Developed by Will Lloyd & Kate Percival

What is the Momentum Method?

The Momentum Method is a practical 5-pillar framework developed by Will Lloyd and Kate Percival from over a decade working with 1,300+ primary schools. It defines the exact sequence a school needs to follow to go from fragile provision to a languages culture the whole school is proud of.

Most schools know languages needs fixing — but they fix the wrong thing first. The Momentum Method gives you the right order: each pillar builds on the one before, creating foundations that hold and momentum that doesn't rely on any one person to keep it going.

02

Build confident, consistent teaching

Guided CPD that builds confidence lesson by lesson — not one-off training days.

03

Make languages everyone's responsibility

Spread ownership across the whole school — not just the coordinator.

04

Turn progress into evidence

Evidence generated naturally — the teaching itself produces it, in every book.

05

Create a culture to be proud of

Celebrate what's genuinely there — because by then, there's plenty worth celebrating.

Who guides you through it

Meet your mentors.

You're not following a manual. You're working with people who've spent years in classrooms and years helping schools build languages provision that lasts.
