Over the past five years, we have not increased the cost of our memberships.

During that time, however, the cost of running and developing our services has risen significantly. After careful consideration, we’ve made the decision to adjust our pricing to ensure we can continue delivering the quality, innovation and support that our members rely on.

What Is Changing?

The updated membership pricing will be:

Premium Plus – £25 increase
Premium – £15 increase
Basic – £10 increase

We understand that any increase matters, especially in education budgets, which is why we want to be completely transparent about why this change is happening.

Why We Are Increasing Prices

1. Rising Business Costs

Over the past five years, operational costs have increased across the board — staffing, technology, hosting, content production, and general business expenses.

This adjustment ensures we can continue to:

Maintain a fully staffed support team
Provide high-quality training and CPD

Sustain and improve our digital systems

We have absorbed these increases for as long as possible. This update allows us to continue operating sustainably without compromising service quality.

2. Investment in Development

Our scheme has not stood still.

Over the past four years, we have invested heavily in:

The development of the new Click-to-Teach scheme
The introduction of the Video-to-Teach scheme
Improvements to the Key Stage 1 scheme
Creation of cross-curricular specials
Continuous refinement of planning, structure and delivery

All of this development requires significant time, expertise and financial investment — and it’s been done to ensure our members always receive a modern, effective and easy-to-deliver language solution.

3. Language Boosters & Digital Innovation

For Premium and Premium Plus members, Language Boosters games app are now integral parts of the offer.

This platform:

Enhances engagement
Supports after-school clubs
Works as a lunch-time option
Extends learning at home
Reinforces classroom delivery

It is not an “extra” — it’s a core enhancement to your language provision.

Further improvements are already in development, including:

Badges and award systems for pupils
Enhanced gamification features
Continued refinement of usability

These improvements are only possible with ongoing investment.

Our Approach to Pricing

We want to reassure members that:

We do not intend to increase pricing annually.
Adjustments will only be made periodically, typically after several years.
Any future changes will always be communicated transparently.

This increase simply reflects five years of inflation and sustained development.

When broken down monthly, the percentage increase remains modest relative to the value and support provided — particularly when considering the breadth of schemes, training, digital tools, and support included.
