However, at first, we didn’t achieve our vision.

From 2013-2019 we thought the scheme we provided was sufficient, and that non-specialists should adapt and improve with hours of CPD and training (pressure & stress). However, the results reaped didn’t reflect the hard work and effort we put in to helping schools. Non-specialists simply weren’t teaching.

🔄Making languages manageable for non-specialists.

We needed the support to be so palatable that even on stressful days, primary languages would remain on schedule.

We realised that PowerPoints with audio files weren’t enough. Non-specialists needed more!

 

CPD alone, isn’t enough.

Therefore, we created Video2teach. A virtual expert teacher in every single classroom, native to the target language.

These virtual teachers provide all the necessary support required in class for the teacher, during the lesson, so that the primary teacher can focus on facilitating the learning of students

The videos aren’t the whole lesson!

Before understanding, some worry that these video lessons make the teacher redundant, and left to sit in the corner of the classroom. Not at all! The videos are designed to facilitate the learning and support the teacher approrpriately.

The short videos (average length 5 mins) help the teacher not only with correct pronunciation, grammar and vocab. But it also provides the structure of a lesson and simplifies the learning process. They are to be used in a team teaching/ pause-play style approach. Boosting confidence, reducing stress and increasing enjoyment for all teachers.
