What is the Primary Languages Network?

Empowering schools to deliver high-quality foreign language education with confidence

The Primary Languages Network (PLN) is a trusted partner to over 1,300 primary schools across the UK, providing expert tools, support, and training to help schools deliver engaging, effective language lessons from Reception to Year 6.

Backed by specialists. Built for non-specialists.
At PLN, we understand that many primary teachers aren't trained language specialists. That’s why we’ve created Video2Teach — a virtual, specialist-led teacher in every classroom. With native-speaker pronunciation, engaging visual content, and guided lesson delivery, even non-specialists can teach confidently and accurately.

“Video2Teach gives our staff the confidence to deliver languages, even with no prior experience. It’s made a huge difference to pupil progress.”
