Outstanding Coordination with Catherine

If languages are well-established at your school, and you have been leading your subject effectively now you might be thinking about refining your practice and reaching not only effective but outstanding coordination. If that is the case, then this is the CPD session for you.

Join Catherine for a one-hour twilight as she talks about the five principles of Primary Languages, and how you can progress from effective coordination to outstanding coordination of languages in your School.

In this session, you will:

- discover the five principles of language learning and how you can establish these in your school.

- look at the support documents on the VLE to help you reach Outstanding Coordination

- understand and discuss how to support staff in your school, and lead languages confidently

- discover ways to collaborate with other coordinators to inspire and share ideas and skills

- find your next steps on your way to Outstanding Coordination

Prerequisites to this course

This session is aimed at experienced coordinators in schools where languages are well-established.

If you are new to the role of languages coordinator, the ‘Effective Coordination’ session is better suited to you.

If you have recently attended the Effective Coordination session, we advise that you spend at least a year establishing effective coordination.
