Developing Leadership in Primary Languages Part II

This is a half day, interactive course where existing or aspiring subject leaders are able to share ideas, ask questions and gain advice under the guidance of an experienced primary language teacher, leader and trainer. They leave feeling motivated and energised to lead Primary Languages in their school.

This is a follow up to Developing Leadership Course Part I or the full day course attended before academic year 2025/26.

This course will focus on principles 3-5 of the 5 principles of primary languages

  • Effective Coordination (covered in Part I)

  • Teaching & Learning (covered in Part I)

  • Celebrating Languages in school

  • School Ethos

  • Community Reach

The course will explore:

  • KS2 to KS3 Transition

  • Engaging the wider school community in Primary Languages

  • Making Languages Sparkle - Creative Teaching & Learning

Suitable for:

MFL Coordinators / Subject Leads and those preparing to take on those roles. Delegate places are limited so please register early
